Weather or NotA Poem by AmeliaGerhardtNot all days sunny and seventy five taste like ice cream trucks and zoo trips Nor do those where the rain falls taste like bright yellow boots and the puddles we fight the urge to jump into I have found that the majority of my days, rain or shine, clouds or no clouds, have begun to taste quite bland I continue to test each one, with little triumph in satisfying my cravings I am uncertain of the needs my stomach is begging me to fulfill Yet I continue to sit outside, with my tongue out, waiting for the world to offer me A new flavor. A new day. A new taste of life.
