That Boy

That Boy

A Poem by Caution In Flames

Everytime I get a text, my heart does a little jump.

Because I'm hoping and wishing that it'll be from him.

And when it is, I just melt.

And smile a cheesy grin.

You'd think I'd learned my lesson about love,

the harm that it can do,

but I can't stop from feeling this way

and falling hard for you.

But then there's a problem.

One that makes me frown.

You're already in love with her.

I'll still be supportive, even if it makes me down.

But you're just too perfect

I want this, I really do

It may be completely wrong,

but I'm falling hard for you.

That really sucks. but don't let your hopes go. Things never turn out the way it seems. And you have to know that there is always more guys out there waiting to meet you.

Aw, that's a sweet poem. :) It's sad though, when you love someone you can't be with...

Ugh! That's always a hard space to be. Best thing you can do that is stay the friend to the guy, but don't count any chickens with the dude. And leave your heart open to other options if they should show up when you're least expecting them. =)
