Can you keep a secret?

One that I don't like to tell?

Further remants of an old you,

are painful to mentally dwell.

 

The rotten core of an apple

still has it's broken seeds.

like the shattered shell of a person

in you is all I see

 

Someone will fall to their knees tonight

there's nothing I can do.

I can pray and hope and scream to the sky

but what will that really do?

 

I'm tired of seeing you suffer

to see you fall to the floor

I don't know if I should stay or go

can't do this anymore.

My friend is suffering, making some bad decisions, and I don't know if I should stick around anymore.

Wow, I am still going through this. My best friend made the worst decisions ever, and she tried to get me into it. I was pressured into doing things I didn't want to do. Now I am still friends with her but I am keeping my distance. So my advice to you is to stay friends with her/him but just be careful because if the stuff they do is really that bad then they might not want to do it alone.

I think the important thing to ask oneself in a place like that, is if you yourself is afraid of being around the person in question. If you feel you're threatened by a friends actions... then it's time to go. But if it's just concern that's keeping you around and you've tried to suggest other roads they might take... Then if they still chose to go their way... then it's probably safe to assume nothing you can do is going to make a difference. Then it's just a choice of do I stay... or do I go... either way it moves into that wasting time phase. I'd walk... If a friend doesn't want to see reason.... then I'm better off elsewhere. Best of luck to what ever choice you make! =)

If shes doing drugs, Ithink you should talk her out of it. If she doesnt listen leave. As hard as it sounds people change, need to move on.
Ive had a "friend" I guess you could say. Friends from 3rd grade. She/he made bad choices, I couldnt fo anything, so I left :/
