Hold the door

Life is moving forward and it never seems to slow
I wish I had a moment to reflect upon my growth
Constantly on the move & never taking rest
When things get hard & all you can do is simply try your best …
Take a moment to pause & look back to before
Slow down, take a breath, it’s okay to hold the door.
You know when you see someone holding the door for you-
They’ve taken a few moments to pause & reflect too.
Such a simple act gives a breather to our mind
When you’re walking in & you pause for the person coming up behind
There are times life feels like a never ending chore …
