Broken and empty and all alone,

abandoned on the floor,

You cut my soul so deeply

When you left and slammed the door

Sobbing on the ground,

With nothing left to say…

drilling into the corners of my brain that

Its better off this way…

Forcing myself to see 

That you’re nothing worth my time,

Trying to convince myself 

To move on with my life…

Believing I’m worth more

Than what you ever gave to me,

Attempting to allow myself to 

See what this life can be

you only brought me down 

With your condescending words,

Imagine what people would say 

If they knew the stories unheard…

Blinded by your smile,

And swept up by your charm,

I never had the chance to see 

You only brought me harm.

Wasted time but lesson learned,

Im a lot smarter now…

i know Im worth more than Someone
