live’s been mellow

I’ve been okay…

living my life

day by day..

not happy 

not sad 

not good 

nor bad…

just carrying on 

in the same old way.

im stuck in the habit

of holding on

after the feelings 

are far far gone

stuck in the habit

of telling myself

things I’ll never tell…

stuck in the habit 

of still believing im less

when the voice in my head screams 

“you’re trying your best”

stuck in the habit

of going through days

living my life 

in the same old way…

of accepting this mess

as the cause of most stress..

praying that i fall asleep
