Revelation

Revelation

A Poem by M.V.Fischer
"

This describes how I found out I was a lesbian in poem form.

"
Looking at him I saw friendship
Looking at her I saw love
I had a crush on this girl
A love I couldn't deny

She didn't love me back, I could tell
Which really broke my heart
All the boys running to me
I knew I had to break their hearts

I know who I am and am proud of it
You should be too
whether your gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or straight
You need to know who you are

So when people ask who you like
Don't give them a lie
Look into their eyes and say
"This is who I am, and you cannot change me"

Looking at him I saw friendship
Looking at her I saw love
I had a crush on this girl
A love I couldn't deny
