Never Mind, Forget It

Never Mind, Forget It

Drip by drip, drop by drop
I can already hear the rain
Your hand is intertwined with hers
I'm trying to hide the pain
Drip by drip, drop by drop
We laugh as the tension builds
She's starring at you with big eyes
I fear our fate is sealed
Did you honestly think this wouldn't hurt me?
Seeing her all caught up in you
And how could you forget
When that's what we planned to do
But never mind, forget it
Maybe this is what's really meant to be
I'll just cry outside these doors
You can pretend like you don't see
Never mind, forget it
You can throw it all away
You don't have to pretend to care about me
I'll find a way to be okay
I'll pull myself away from your eyes
I'll keep the butterflies away when you laugh
She can have herself all over you
If it makes you feel like you have more class
Never mind, forget it
I know I'll be okay
I don't think you ever really cared about me anyway
