Finding Inner Vision

Finding Inner Vision

A Poem by The Mad Prophet
"

People forget to look at their own lives for answers. Your past is your path to the future.

"

To comprehend true Wisdom
One must accept their pains
For without Darkness
Light would be non existent

Finding ones self, is to seek out Wisdom
Which direction should one look?
Face no direction
For your life handed you all the tools
Channel in a little Chaos in the mind
So new path ways may be open and reached
Destroy logic and reasoning
They are the gifts of Light
In order to appreciate the Light
You must live a life of Darkness
Wisdom is the Shadows
Wisdom lies in the Chaos
Wisdom is facing the Unknown

Experience the contrast
Your life is hard for one reason
So you may educate those of weaker Will
A strong Will and an ever burning desire
Will open your path to Enlightenment

Your words are so true. Everything we need to know is within us..not
on TV, doctors, medicine, family, friends...we look upon other things
for answers, making it easier because looking within ourselves can be
harder than anything we have ever done...taking ourselves apart to be
reborn, opening up things long forgotten.

Balancing our lives within dark and life, but to know our true
selves, we must at times live in darkness to unfold that of negativity.

Darkness can be that of beauty too...not evil as most think of.

This is not only a great poem, it's great advice. I really like it...you've captured the duality of human nature.
Great job.

This is rather impressive by way of shocking in your face gut out flat truth. You, my friend have penned this one well and I bet that anyone who reads this piece will be left thinking for a while.

Wow - this is quite a piece! A real fountain of wisdom.
Each and every line is profound and thought provoking.
If one is not facing ones own fears one will never know
the own limits, and life will only happen in the confines
of the mind, and one will never find a path to strive
for higher goals ...

Impressing!
