My Soul is a Void Part III of I am the Darkness

 

You found your way into my soul

Are you lost? Are you scared?

I keep it dark for a reason

I keep it empty for you

 

The ever spinning vortex of my void

The absence of everything

I made it hard to find for a reason

I wish you would have never entered

Now how do you find your way out of darkness?

How do I keep you safe from me?

I keep my soul empty too

I make it a void

A void of light

A void of all that is not right

I keep you safe from me

I keep you away from what’s there

Demons that hide and wait

The same ones that haunt me everyday

The pain I go through, is meant for me

This pain makes me sad when other endure

You must stay away from the void

I am not worth the look

What I fear, if your pain

And that’s one pain to many to endure

I must show you nothing

I must show you a shell

No trespassing inside

This I do for you

Why do you not see this?

Why must you try to find my soul?
