Lost and Lonely

Lost and Lonely

A Poem by The Mad Prophet
"

What is the point of living if you are born into sadness. The Unknown always hold many answers. At first this was writen to cheer up someone, but he never read it.

"

You turn east, waiting
Rising each day like the sun
Breathing, eating, and even standing
Looking out further
Looking for meaning
Deep messages veiled from you
What others have, why not you?
What other see, why can’t you?
Question ask, but never replied
Hope lost, but never cared
The soul is strong
But the heart is weak
The soul is fading
But the heart works harder
Mysteries yet to be solved
Life without purpose
What is life without meaning?
What is life without love?
If you never felt it, can you miss it?
Only the self knows
But the self never could learn
Reflect it into a mirror
Reflect it in the eyes of another
What can you see?
What can be learned?
The Void has mysteries
Dare to look and see
Dare to venture into the unknown
Shed what you can
Renewal is the key
The time of change is now
And I am not holding back
No more fearing the lost
No more fearing the unknown
NO MORE FEAR

Throughout this poem one can feel the narrator gain confidence, in fact I think it is a very positive piece.

-- No more fearing the lost
-- No more fearing the unknown
-- NO MORE FEAR

A great write! Perfect meter and rhythm. An easy read. Thumb up too for the positive message!
