Glass Air on a Dusty Road

Glass Air on a Dusty Road

A Poem by The Mad Prophet
"

It's hard to breathe when you know you can't allow yourself to get close to someone. It's harder when you realize you have no purpose left in life. The only purpose was to love someone, it's a paradox.

"

I don’t tend on breathing in these shards
For they are sharp, and it will slice my throat with each deep breath
I know now in life that air is an option to take in
If you’re tough the glass shards are only bubbles
But for many, life will make you choose to breath
Life will make you walk a road that is hard to traverse
The hard cobble dusty road, which are as sharp as glass
For some finds themselves on this road in life
But not everyone have the strength to keep walking through
And not everyone is lucky to experience its lessons it may bring

I love this poem, what you say in it is not only exasperating due to level of shock to the reader, but it's a piece which makes you think about yourself.
Write hard!
