In Dreams I cameA Poem by The Mad ProphetA poem on Lucid Dreaming. Gaining control of your dreams. It's fun, but I only done it 3 times in my life. Your mind expands on my topics, but then you wake right back up.
Reality shed me of my flesh
Physical spare me the bones
My eyes, yes they do deceive
My ears, yes they do delude
My time grows thin, and my heart grows weary
Now I sleep on a bed of lies
Waking into the real conscience of the mind
Now I am aware once more
Now I turn to the many doors
Within space and time, no longer an issue
I feel empowered once more
The dreams of my reality
The reality I accept
Shows me even a greater self
Or a lost of personal will
To stay strong becomes a challenge
Dream taint deluding the self
Self will starts to chip
The Ego is all that’s left
This reality fails to stay
Now in the waking world
Governed with universal laws
No longer do I have control
No longer does my heart feel full
Rend of my new conscience
Aware of my weak flesh
Fake sense of self
Plagued with emotion
Forced into this, and now realized I’m alone
Dreams that was once ancient
Dreams that I had once commanded
This is my prison
I am chained to my demise
Forced into realization
Facing the abyss
But I know in my heart
I will return to the dreaming
Where I am known
And were I am all
