[ There's a fire inside of me ]

      

There's a fire inside of me                                               

It's my passion burning for things I love to do

A sensation of pain permeating within me at my weakest moments

I fall to the ground and it sears my flesh

As truly as it burns me it equally warms me

Warmth in my heart when a good deed goes noticed

A tinge of heat between the flesh of another

My body has created this fire inside of me

It's shapeless like water but invisible and mysterious like gravity

I felt it at one and I'll feel it past sixty

And when the flame has passed

A new fire will look over me
