A Poem by TJB

When night masks morality
Day must in turn show it
If love hides disloyalty
Then hate must reveal it
Equivalence will force it's way
Like a new king hungry for wealth
An unavoidable burden
Attached uniquely to each adjective
One does not remove the balance
Merely delays and adjusts it

I liked the similie 'like a new king hungry for wealth'. i'm always looking for good similies and metaphors I think they take writing to a different level. I really enjoyed your poem. fantastic.
