where i choose to rest

where i choose to rest

A Poem by Madame

Pull me close upon our breast.
Let my head heavily rest,
here against the one i love,
whose personality fits like a glove.
This i crave, like the heavens above.
In my lovers arms, i find serenity.
Though feeling your entrapment admittedly,
the fear of attachment boils inside of me.
But beauty has no better name
than the name i give to thee.
And as the name escapes my grasp
I watch your hands, the way they clasp
and cup the figure of my face,
to plant a few kisses full of grace.
I watch you plant another on my face.
So this is where i choose to rest.
Here beneath your inviting scent
and with my head against your breast.
Below my breath ill breathe your name
but to the audience i dare not
for name's sake and your scent
i keep them sacred in my heart
