Dancer

Dancer

A Poem by Madame

Last night i had a dream of you,
A dream of golden hair.
Your lips were round and smiling
with applauding delight,
As i came through the door,
you stood round the corner
begging me to begin.
Without delay, i nod ok
Pick up my pick and play.
you danced and danced
with gracious hips,
laughed with pure delight,
moved in, moved out,
round and about,
Intoxicating as the moonlight,
Breaking into night.
Then looked at me with shameless eyes,
and we began again.
I rounded the corner,
and you were there
Beer in hand,
you welcomed me in
yellow eyes begged me to begin
without delay
i nod okay
with love i play and play

Nice rhyme scheme... sweet poetry. I liked the repetition of words:
"Pick up my pick and play."...."with love i play and play"

All in all I really enjoyed the read
