Blue Eyes

Blue Eyes

A Poem by Madame

my head aches
and all i wanna do is cry
but you can ease my mind
i want to lay my head in your lap
and gaze unto your eyes
two solemn blue pools
i can drown in them
and everything would be okay

I'd smile up to you
as we often do
watching the sky change
the sky is not as blue as you
your familiar eyes are like clouds
on them i could drift away

i push you back
so your head can rest
and sink deep into your chest
listen for the beating sound
like waves crashing
as i drown
and still your gaze i never part
here i stay
drowning in your gaze
too lazy even to play
happy just listening to your heart
