nobody wants pain,

but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain'

My fathers' words were ringing,

As I walked out the door,

" Now you have no home, you can sleep on the floor."

My mothers' tears flowed through the foundation of her face,

But I walked away,

Funny how at seventeen we know it all, buck against the traces, often to our regret in later life.

It's the generation gap writ large and I know there are many who have gone through similar experiences.

Beccy.

PS. My dad is convinced he's always right. :)
