Chapter (6) SUGAR AND SPICE AND ALL THINGS NICE. (That's what little girls are made of.)

Chapter (6) SUGAR AND SPICE AND ALL THINGS NICE. (That's what little girls are made of.)

A Chapter by MAD ENGLISHMAN

Our little girl is three now

She’s growing every day,

She loves our old piano,

And says she wants to play.

She sits herself upon the stool

But cannot see the keys,

So down she gets then climbs back up

To rest upon her knees.

Her mum and I , we stand and watch

As she begins to play,

Hooraaa cries mum, that’s really good

But I think it’s enough for today.

Then she starts to dance, and swing her arms

She sings and jumps about,

It’s not so much a melody

It’s more a noisy shout.

And

Mum and I we stand and watch

As she begins to twirl,

She knocks stuff down and breaks things

We just love our little girl.

It's a good experience for children to be objected to music at such a young age. I remember my son taking up the violin in 4th grade...boy, was I proud! Good for her that you have these keepsakes of those precious moments in time!

She was a real cutey. Now she's a beautiful woman. Still can't play the piano.
Absolutely sweet and adorable. What a perfect picture of the inhibition of childhood; there is none. They act upon their feelings to express themselves without all the baggage and fear the rest of us carry.

Nicely spoken, thanks.
Lovely little poem, and so true to life. Kids are magic, as is their world.

Beccy.

Happy you liked it.
Kids are fun to watch dance as they are as unconsciousness as they are uncoordinated.
