Chapter (4) MISSING YOU

MISSING YOU.

Oh where are you now my dearest one

You left me, but gave no hint of leaving.

These last days since you've been gone

I find no end to this pain I'm grieving.

 

Life was good when I had you by my side,

Our future, full of hope and promise, set.

You aided me in this fight against lifes' tide

I cannot return to a time before we met.

 

I'm lost without your help to sort my days,

My life's so dull, so lonely, empty and long

No evenings' conversations, just times' delays

I do so miss, the sound of your sweet song.

 

I searched for you by day and night

Cannot imagine where you could be.

Always in my mind though you are out of sight

Are you with someone else instead of me.

 

To think anothers' hands might hold you.

The pain grows, I worry so about us

Then, I remember, that last time I had you

I left you on the bus.

 

Looks like I'll have to buy a new phone.

these things can realy put you down. i like your poem is not totatly gloomy. there is also typical ENGLISH humor . i like it it s like good mornig cofee bitter and make you ready for real life.
