This Little Black Book

This Little Black Book

A Poem by Mad-strosity
"

A poem about my poetry journal, and how it's helped me through so much.

"

This little black book- it's pages so deep-

you'll never know it's loss of sleep.

The only reason it stays up all night

is to keep her from doing what isn't right.

no one will hear this little black book...

a savior, a hero, to what she might have took.

no one will know the dark things it kept,

her secrets, her lovers,

and how much she wept.

Somehow it remembered me a bit of Death Note with these lines: "a savior, a hero, to what she might have took" :D
Well done, you pickup the theme of diary pretty well and gave me few things to think about. Can't relate to is as I don't keep one, but I still liked it.
From the technical side of things you could divide few more lines into additional one and brake it up into stanzas, but that's detail.
Keep up the good work!

About
I love to write, but one thing I try to steer away from is writing "about me"'s...because I suck at writing about myself. But, okay, singing is my life, and I never want to do anything else for the re.. more..
