My Days

My Days

A Poem by Macy A. Brown

On my forest green days,

I am calm and cool,

I am slow and not yelling.

On my tan days,

I can be anything I want to.

I can be as sour as a lemon,

or as sweet as a berry.

I can be as juicy as an apple or cherry.

I can be as tart as a strawberry.

On my tourcoise days,

I can be a heartbreaking fantasy story.

I can be an inviting swimming pool onm a hot summer day,

I can be a neckalace in my mom's jewerly box.
