PLUTO WAS NEVER FORGOTTEN

PLUTO WAS NEVER FORGOTTEN

A Story by Reynalyn Macawile Tarosan
"

Written three days before Pluto made an appearance( good heavens!) To all those who felt that you are Pluto in one way or another, this is for you. :)

"
Was there ever a time in your life when you actually believed you were forgotten? The way people look at you with those empty stares of animosity and unrecognizable distress which led to a hundred arrows of numbness pierced on every part of your system. Like a lonely dart, you missed your target. Why do girls flock at you? You're not some honey-suckled bread that attract flies but why do they circle over your head as if you're some kind of delectable skeletal-framed masterpiece ready for scavengers?
You don't have a sticky note that says " hurt me" but why do they hurt you and take away what they want and leave? Cant they see that you're human and you have a heart?
Like the entire component of our universe, you asked yourself. Why am i not in the same system as they are? Where do i belong if not eight planets away from the sun? Why is it so dark? Why am i cold?
Well, love. People failed to see it. Scientists were over the line to kick Pluto out of the system just because it was deemed to small and too far for the sun's light to reach.  It never lost its identity. Even if people will try over and over again to label it as a dwarf entity rather than a planet. Even if the only hand reaching out as its haven were ice and darkness.
But here's the kicker: The sun isn't the only star giving off heat and light. There are millions of other stars in the Milky Way.It wont be long before a star will be born , from nebular dust clouds and heat. It will be the star that will give Pluto the thing he wants the most-- light. Pluto will be part of its system, and by then it will realize, he was never forgotten.
