If I Could Tell You Anything...

If I Could Tell You Anything...

A Poem by Macrory
"

A note I left for my wife after a long night of disagreements and difficult conversations

"

If I could tell you anything

What might I say?

That sharing our life together

Gets me through each day.

That no matter how our journey ends

I will forever travel along our road.

Even ‘round the curves and bends

To wherever it might go.

That I cannot picture my life ahead

Without you in each frame.

No matter the obstacles in our path

I’m grateful you took my name.
