You, Love Me.

You, Love Me.

A Poem by Mara
"

Questioning Commitment

"

Will you love me
When I can't see?
When I refuse you feed
And thrash you back
From apologies
You, so desperately
need?

Will you love me
When I am huge?
When I am sick?
When I am rude?
When I am lewd?
When I
Leave you?

When I no longer
Need you
And ogle the man
With unmarred hands,
Will you love me
Too?

I will attack
With claws exposed.
I will bark and bite.
I will hurt you,
Clean and cool,
With all my might.

I will place you
In a cage
With steal bars
And a heart beat frame,
So you will never escape
My keen
And timely
Games.

Right now
Your last get away
Yet remains.
Unplayed.

Run for the hills,
Free yourself alone.
I'll watch from our home
Waiting there,
Patiently,
At the window sill,

Watching your
Little needs,
As you
Leave me.
