Death by Imagination

Death by Imagination

A Poem by Mackenzie Brooke

Poetry killed

literature kidnapped me

personification took me from reality

Trapped in a metaphor

lost all sanity

don't wanna escape back to reality

Boxed into these lines

controlled by words

don't want the freedom of the real world

Brilliant. Very original and resonant. Just the sort of thing i like to read. I'll certainly browse through the rest of your selection.
