A letter to a friend.

A letter to a friend.

A Poem by ColorblindMartian.

Where did you run too?

Why insist on leaving?

why do we still tempt the living,

breathing heart of our mess.

I will chase you, to the rocks of the bay,

tell I hear you say.

I will run to no avail, no certain

victory, but the promise of 'maybe'.

I will sink to the sea, to free,

every last memory,  feeling the

waves I will finally see. beautiful

green eyes, piercing me.

sing your siren scream, and tempt

every man walking.

I will fly, over every last word, we muttered

there, and the rejection i came to know.

I will kiss your brow, and run to every town.

and make up for what we could have been.
