Faith in Hope

Faith in Hope

A Poem by MacieLogan

I'll hold your hand
through this crazy life.
I'll show you how to feel.
I'll catch you with my web.
There's nothing more important than hope,
if you have enough you can control your emotions.

How do you feel?
Do you have any emotion?
I'm already caught in your web.
You see this dirt on my hands?
It's from my dirty life,
to clean them would take more than just hope.

You don't know my life.
I know how you feel.
I can heal with these hands.
Some faith with some hope,
will let you read into your emotions,
let you weave your own web.

I can't handle my emotions.
I've run out of hope.
That's why I choose not to feel,
why I kill myself with my own two hands.
I've gotten tangled in this mess of a web.
I've let it consume my whole life.

Let me rekindle your hope!
Don't be afraid to feel,
you need to live your life.
Ever-changing will be your emotions,
but you can do great things with those hands.
Let yourself fall through that web.

It won't hold me back anymore, this web.
It will set free the keys to my life.
I'll allow myself once more to feel,
I know I can with my hands.
I've never needed more hope,
I'll learn to deal with my emotions.

My emotions will never out-weigh my hope.
I'll hold my life in my own two hands.
I'll break from the web, and again learn to feel myself.
