Anything but Beautiful

Anything but Beautiful

A Poem by MacieLogan

She was a blonde haired, blue eyed girl

her long elegant legs carry her

her perfect bones lay under

flawless porcelain skin.

The looks she gets on the streets

are of lust and admiration.

Jealousy.

Longing.

She’s Beautiful.

But her words fall from her lips

with such a phony tone.

Her words are harsh.

Her thoughts are hurtful and ignorant.

Her appearance is a lie.

Her heart is cold and black.

That’s anything but Beautiful.
