Haiku Sunset

Haiku Sunset

A Poem by Dave
"

I wrote this in response to the Haiku Sunset contest that was being offered on WritersCafe.org. These haikus were meant to be together, painting a picture of being in a hammock by the beach at sunset.

"

Laying in hammock

Sipping a margarita

Sun disappearing

Warm breezes rock me

Ocean waves sing me to sleep

Today fades away

I like them.

I wish I were watching the day fade away...
Today has merely begun...
*sigh*

What a relaxing piece...
