Peach Green TeaA Poem by MachinaWriter
i once knew a poet
who titled every poem first before any other word i promptly called his wife we were immediately concerned only madmen name a sound they've never heard we said our fill he'd patiently listened of course as we both flummoxed and blabbered and stumbled over
each other until he was almost to his third cup of peach green tea and we both threw our arms up and said, "NOW DO YOU SEE?!?" to which he responded that if we were done he'd very much
like to finish writing we read it later and we forgot that we ever flummoxed or blabbered or stumbled over each other and the three of us shared
cups of peach green tea.
