Your Empty WordsA Poem by MachinaWriterWill I ever feel this emotional current of love without deterrent without blocks and without fear Because I'm nearing a rising cadence of impudent impatience angry and bitter and tired and worn staring at my withering heart that is torn between dreams and frustration and creative elation shared but never understood by those that can't know "You'll find love, your heart is strong it comes in time," are words from a song full of lies I have heard too many times played endlessly on a radio hosted by those who entertain my disdain with hope that is revoked by any real look at the world that is here. So talk about it tell me it will happen tell me to keep writing and that someone will hear because after years and years of bleeding out ink you would think that someone somewhere whether far or near would grab my words and hold them here... by the heart. Tell me your empty violet words that are simply limping by in my mind crippled by the times I have been broken and hurt. I don't want those words I want the real thing tell me you love me sing me something lovely, or leave me to whisper... whisper my own hushed prayer that you're really out there the one this is for; and that I'm not alone anymore...
