I think you've captured in the faintness of a moment... a hint of divinity, where you know everything is as it should be. the essence of spanish lullaby is in the romance... for the world, love, freedom.. whatever your heart fancies.. I imagine paco de lucia and flamenco dancers on the street. beautiful writing.

I say this a lot when reading your work, but this is definitely one of my favorite pieces of yours. It's so beautiful, so descriptive - I really pictured the entire thing. I can see that it is different from your usual, but I like that about it. You do so well with so many different types of poetry, it's quite impressive. Lovely job, as always, my friend.

This one is sweet and lovely...
It's long but it's worth reading...
"No television,
no curtains on the window.
Just a coffee pot,
a flower pot
and all the things we never buy.
Just you and me
a view of the sea
and the sounds of a Spanish lullaby."
I really love this line...
Nice one...
Just keep thinking outside the box...

Aaaw...
how nice...
It'shard to find a muse with such level of influence...
An early morning celebration of the simple life that is beautifully expressed. It reminded me somewhat of D.H. Lawrence's poem Gloire dejin Roses, which just talks about the lady in his life, but your poem takes in your possessions, accommodation and the world outside, I really can't find fault with any of it.

I've never read that poem, but I'll read it off your recommendation. Yeah, I just feel that sometimes we value the wrong things in life. I'm a pretty simple person, in the things I need. That's pretty much what this was about, amongst other things. I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^
My original passion has always been in writing stories. Most of them were fantasy stories, because I always wanted to escape. That's what it was. An escape from the troubles of life. Joining this site.. more..
