BluebirdA Poem by MachinaWriterA poem...Bluebird, don’t you
cry Fly, fly, fly You were meant for
so much more Don’t let your
tattered wings, -keep you grounded,
when all around us, is another reason
to soar. Don’t count the
fallen feathers. -things will get
better. Ignore the stormy
weather, the clouds, -the fog from the
banks creating a shroud. If you sing, you’ll
be heard -so fly, my broken
bird. Nothing will get in
your way. Sing and the world
will hear, -everything you
have to say. If you need a nest, a place to rest from the endless distress, -you have a home. No matter where you
are, no matter how far
you fly -you’re never
alone. Don’t count your
feathers fallen, -they come to me. And with them I
hear you callin’ -singing that you’re
free. Bluebird, don’t you
cry Fly, fly, fly You were meant for
so much more. You’re singing in
my heart. You’ll be singing
evermore. © 2012 MachinaWriterAuthor's Note
