Just Love Her

Just Love Her

A Poem by MachinaWriter
"

Let me know what you think, I could use some critiques...

"

All alone, you once did find me

Hidden away, the world behind me

Calling back, “Oh, don’t deny me”

But I couldn’t miss, when we first kissed

my only wish

That you’d dance there beside me

I knew right then you’d be the one

to stop the storms and bring the sun

I loved her

And I saw in you what I should do

to save your heart from turning blue

Just love her

I used to think

There’s nothing for me

I was alone

But without a warning

I found you here

By me every morning

And as I sit

I wonder how

This came to be

But you’re waking now

Every day, I’m falling in

Love with you, all over again

And as you smile

When you wake

I kiss you soft

To try and take

The smile in my heart

And I crawl beneath the cover

To hold you close, my constant lover

Who made me see, and discover

I’d never need, a single other

For then and always,

I would love her

Your heart and mine had seen a time

when love was gone, nowhere to find

But now I love her

And I promise you,

-even if you sleep til noon

when you wake you’ll be taken soon

By my lips upon your’s too

My lover

Because I knew right then, as I always had

That to make her smile when she’s sad

Just love her

Really powerful, showing how love can make you realise how happy you are now and how the life of someone else can brighten any day rain or shine! Loved it!

This made me tear up, it's just so beautiful. Please tell me you showed this to your fiance. It's so lovely, it's like your love for her just falls into words. As always, amazing job. Your writing never gets old.
