She belongs in love songs

That fate will let it be…

 

Yes, she belongs

High in the clouds- with the sun

Because she beams on me

And her light is strong

And when she walks

I walk along…

 

Yes, she belongs in love songs

And she belongs, in my arms

And when she kisses me

She kisses light

And my mind, luv

Is reeling high

My soul is soaring

Its past the sky

And like a comet, its shooting by

And I know, Whit, I’m not wrong

To say, luv, that you belong

Amidst love songs…

 

Yes, she belongs amidst love songs

I know this

And she belongs, in my arms

And she is.
