Mousike (Muse-ic)

Mousike (Muse-ic)

A Poem by Mac. S
"

Short about music

"
I may inherit a thousand chaoses
A thousand curses
But never one flaw that my kin share:
Disarray

I have music to thank for this
The loveliest of gifts

Calming my mind
As the ethereal sea waves crash on shore
Bearing thought
As eternal goddess wade my sea of worry
Abolishing fear

Soothing my heart
As wagon over road, treads long path
As foot over hill, faces new wrath

Giving me words
Her name told to me, in a song long past
Forgotten

But always remembered by one

Author's Note

Mac. S
My first time even touching poetry in about a year. Very poor I know, and I will likely express my appreciation for music better later at somepoint.
