A Divine being

A Divine being

A Poem by Maanya Arora
"

Some godly person I knew

"
I ask allmighty where is love
He says it resides in you
I ask god what is love
He says what he gives you.
Clearly out of the blue
You came and altered my life
You spread several hues
Of intimacy , desire and solicitude.
I wonder, if I believed
I pondered if love existed
My thoughts were answered
Unsaid , you depicted.
An year has gone
With the gust of the wind
We’re now done
Of all the games
I never looked forward
For a happy life with you
Rather a life of togetherness
Even in times of blue
You’ve mistaken my character
Judged me by my attire
Mocked me about my choices
I never went against
All the allegations you put
Accepted them with disgrace
But also regained the pace
Astonishing isnt it?
Someone you love
Endlessly despite of the differences
Has no reason to stay
I regard him as my god,
For he has been there
When no one else was
And he still is
Watching over me
From a far away distance.
With bruished heart
And a fake smile he walks
Paying no heed to me
For I am nothing now
But a mere blimp is his oblivion.

A little nonsensical, but true.
“God is he, he is mine”.
