Alter in Fate

Alter in Fate

A Poem by Maanya Arora
"

This is a short poem, meaningless to some but holds a great deal of significance in my life. It highlights how in a year things can go from heaven to a drain of damage.

"
He is my Aruu
I’m his Mauu.
He is a smart teddy
While I’m a bit messy.
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up.
We love each other endlessly
But do not forgive easily.
We’re two idiots
Cooking love together.
We’re couple goalz
Because he is perfect from head to toes.
🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸
Game changed
Things seem so strange.
Everyone running ahead
But I am left depressed.
I was his priority
Now I’m a dirty cloth in his laundry.
That doesn’t matter much
As I still feel his touch.
What hurts the most,
‘I won’t leave you at any cost’
Is nothing now but,
A false commitment.

Is it okay to wait? Is it even possible to love someone so much that the sight of them leaving your life puts a full stop on the present?

He will be there for you to extend that line segment of your life into a ray of happiness, not as a lover, but as a friend.
