A Poem by Madeline Derujinsky

we dance across the stage in many colors
costumes filled with flawless personas
unmasked the ugly
she makes mistakes
but humanity is made of sinners
who made you the minister?
the one to blame?
apologies to those who she hurt.
she's still on the top of everybody's hit list
why?
they're not even hawks, they don't watch
they pick and prod and tear her limb from limb.
vultures.
just go.
