I am her

I am her

A Poem by Ki

She watches the world with a cynical view, through her glistened green eyes
Hard and soft, all around the edges
Inside is a mystery
The shell is all anyone knows

She makes proud of all she is
Whatever it may be
Her justice stands the test of time
But does she really mean it?

She weeps for others
She weeps for herself
Selfless, yet so selfish
She accepts the human in her

The human is what breaks her
The human is what hurts her,
Time and time again
So young, but so old

The tree stands tall
The tree wavers
The tree is confused
What is its fate?

wow. This really got me thinking, it's so unique and deep. I like how the meaning isn't obvious, but there's clearly a lot of meaning in this poem. Great Job.
