Why?A Story by KiHuh... Think about it.
I walk down the hall. A thousand faces, I know almost all of them, but I don't REALlY know them. I don't know that the popular preppy girl is having a rough time at home. I don't know that the quiet girl struggles every day being made fun of. Because trust me. If you don't truly know a person, you don't know what they're going through. You don't really know what it's like to step in their shoes and be them. We all go to school together. School is supposed to be a place where we learn. But it's been warped in to a contest of who's cool and who's not. If you don't fit all of the criteria of a clique, you're an outcast. Really think about what you say. You don't know how hard it is for anyone else.
When we have all of these anti-bullying talks in school, everyone thinks, "Oh yeah. I don't beat anybody up. Bullying is hurting someone physically. Stealing their lunch money. I'm no bully." When in reality, I see heart breaking emotional bullying happen every day. People say heartless things. Who knows why? It'd be nice if everyone got along. The change needs to start with you. You make a difference. Be the change. © 2011 KiReviews
