blista blues

blista blues

A Poem by Miles Evens
"

A silly little poem I wrote a long time ago , hope you enjoy :)

"
I found my socks
but I got no shoes
so I am walking down town
with my blista blues
cracks in the sidewalk
my feet don't feel so strong
why can't me and this street
just try to get along
I use to have no worries
about steppin on glass
but now with no shoes
these obstacles I must pass
oh my shoes
please tell me were you've gone
I wanna go outside
and at least step on my lawn
I wanna stomp on the floor
to make a loud sound
I wanna step on a bug
and crush it to the ground
but with no shoes
these things I cannot do
without my laces to guide me through

This was comical. This reminds me of one time when I forgot all my shoes (Chuck Taylors, lol) in another state and wound up wearing flip-flops for a couple months...until they broke. D= Good job.
