Morgan Yai,
"It's not about Me" was a true word that says life is real whether I understand or not. Nature's voice is speaking and we can enjoy it. Life's chaos against the back drop of your trees and leaves talking, talking withing nature's reality was a inspiration to this heart. Blessings in your life and writing...........Kathy
I love this poem. I love nature and trees talking is a concept I have used in my poetry. This reached me. It has a humorous undertone, but also one of quiet awe for nature. I especially enjoy the interplay between the speaker and the trees and the "talking about me" concern as a way to play on the way they so quietly whisper as the breeze blows through the leaves.
In fact, I liked this so much that this poem was selected by NavWorks Press for publication in our volume, Sometimes Anyway. See my Writer's Café blog for more details: http://www.writerscafe.org/navworks/blogs/Release-of-Two-New-Books/126161/

Wow! This is very good! I like the idea of the trees and their branches and their boughs talking to each other in the woods. Who needs Tolkien's Ents when we have the real thing? ! :)) A very peaceful piece, I think. Made me feel quite relaxed.
