AUTUMN SUMMERS DIED OF WINTER RAIN

AUTUMN SUMMERS DIED OF WINTER RAIN

A Poem by MYRETOUN
"

Losing as son

"

The angel of a boy
I knew no more
his songs were sung
with breath unknown
and the nature of he
once fresh in my ear
now crumbled

by the long walk
of sleeping and waking
the mere fact of life
and its humdrum way
sank silent on me
and Autumn Summers
died of Winter rain

MYRETOUN,
'Autumn Summers died of winter's rain" This poem deserved a thoughtful pondering. It comes accross like the fond reality known in past shiny days once real. So bright and promising, the feeling still clings to the skin; summer of life. With life moving, always striving, always in layers of experience. Summer's memory has been tarniched. The title is so very perfect. Blessings, Kathy
