Love Letter To Whom It May Concern

Love Letter To Whom It May Concern

A Poem by M Walser

My Dearest Love,

My mind is traveling the same road many times over.  Passing the same rustic lamppost on the corner of Elm and Main.  I can hear the same cocker spaniel yapping wildly from a nearby neighbor's back yard.  The fireflies light up the night and the porch light's illuminating the walkway leading to the steps of your porch.  It takes many passes of gawking and hem hawing on the curb before I can work up the courage to use the knocker on your heart's door.

The melancholic personality claims my fears of rejection, but I'm determined to overcome.  My mind is made up, so I seize the opportunity to follow my heart.  In hot pursuit like cops and robbers, the chase leads me through many truths of which I'm unprepared to address. Life is empty and incomplete without you.  Butterflies take flight and knees buckle to the ground in your presence.  Moonlight blinds me as I lay victim to your spell, on my backside looking skyward.  Your beautiful hazel eyes accent the wonders of the heavens as i stargaze into your face.
Paralyzed in the shadows of your fragrance, I sit wafting in your aroma. I find myself allured to you with desires to wrap you in my loving embrace.  Your brilliance penetrates the marrow of my bones to my intellectual core.  Honor an respect are yours immeasurable and I stand astounded.

These words are no testament to what my heart yearns to proclaim from the highest pinnacles of the world.  My voice of declaration announces my love and affection.  My lips quiver to have a touch of your elegance. This pen stumbles and the ink blots stagger in intoxication of you.
With my utmost love do I pen this letter and wish upon the stars in your eyes to be with you forever, and ever

      With warmest regards,
