Movement

Movement

A Poem by Ninja Empyrean

People often seem robotic to me.
I wonder in what direction they are moving.
I am lost in the binary communication between them.
Because my motion is full spectrum.

I drift between romance.
Quickly and with anxiety.
Because I chose not to be symbiote -
But rather charged individual.

Do I love?
I know I feel pain.
I know that the silver cord of acceptance -
Never breaks for knowing.

I fear falling into conformity,
Only for companionship.
I long for understanding -
In this unfamiliar place.

If I am yours,
I do hold you close not as machine.
Conversely the unknowns -
Fall wayside.

I really enjoyed this piece.
It tells a story of being torn between wanting to free, but yet your afraid to open up and be vulnerable.
People just seem to go through the motions.
I enjoyed reading this.
