Kiss

Kiss

A Chapter by Gabriel Firebrand
"

Is a smack on the lips truly harmless?

"

This story is a follow-up to Break.

"Why won't you try it? Come on, it's harmless."

That's what she first told me. She wanted me to kiss her. Normally, a boy would take the opportunity to peck one, but not me. I had respect for her. I refused to give her a kiss on the lips, just on the cheek.

"Maybe when we get hitched, then I'll smack on on your lips." I joked her.

"Hm, maybe." She winked at me.

Twenty-seven dates. All of them ended with a kiss on the cheek from me, then a kiss on my cheek from her.

During our twenty-eighth date, she broke off our relaitonship.

I screamed in agony. I shouted in despair.

In the midst of it all, she gave me a kiss.

On the lips.

I entered a downward spiral. I was constantly depressed.

A month later, she had found someone new.

I was able to get some info on the guy she was seeing, thanks to one of her friends.

"Why did she leave me for... ...him?!"

"I don't mean to burst your bubble here, mate. But she says she wanted a great kisser. They make out a lot."

I lick my lips.

I grind my teeth.

I scream in agony.

I shout in despair.

"Why won't you try it? Come on, it's harmless."

"I respect you, okay? I want your first kiss with someone special."

"But, you are someone special! I love you! Can't you see that?"

"I see it, I know it. Hell, I feel it. But, I think now's not the right time."

"Hmph. If I dump you for a good kisser, don't regret it, 'kay?"

"Very, very funny, miss comedian. Maybe when we get hitched, then I'll smack on on your lips."

"Hm, maybe."
