Snorkeling, parasailing, water skiing, and snowboarding are just a few of the fun and extreme sports you can try this summer! The hallmark of vacations, or most vacations these days, is lying on the beach and catching a tan. You may even take a walk on the wild side and get into the ocean. Why not go crazy and start checking some things off of your bucket list? 2. Attend a day party. Day parties aren’t exactly a new phenomenon, but they have become more popular these days, especially in the summer. Pool parties, yacht parties, and rooftop parties are some of the trending themes you’ll see this summer. But you don’t have to wait for one. Call a hotel or a boat company and throw your own day party. Give it a cool theme and tell a friend to tell a friend about the hot day party you’re throwing to celebrate life! It doesn’t even have to be a vacation. You can do this on the weekend!
3. Check out a wellness retreat. Wellness retreats have become more and more popular. People are starting to take their health and happiness more serious and for that reason, they are seeking out places that cater to this mentality. There are a ton of retreat centers in the states, but if you want to get away for a bit or travel outside of the states for a change, then check out some of the international wellness retreats.
4. Attend a new event every other week! This one is for the social butterfly in... well most of us! If you aren’t a big fan of meeting and getting to know new people, then take this as a challenge. Grab a friend, make it a game, and try to meet at least 2 new people every time you go out! You never know what it could lead to.
5. Take a class centered around your favorite hobby. Or better yet, get a new hobby! Something new and exciting may give you a new sense of purpose in the world.
